Can ChatGPT or Claude register my work for me?
Yes. If you make things with an AI assistant, the last step — registering what you made — can happen in the same conversation. OpenStela runs a remote MCP server, which is the standard way assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT and coding tools talk to outside services.
Connecting it
- claude.ai — Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, URL https://app.openstela.io/mcp. You will be sent to OpenStela to sign in and approve; no key to copy.
- ChatGPT — Settings → Connectors (developer mode) → Create, same URL, same sign-in.
- Claude Code, Cursor and other tools — create an API key in Account settings and pass it as a bearer token to the same URL. The developers page has the exact configuration.
What it can do
Twelve tools, all of them things you could do yourself in the app: list your characters and works; read a YouTube channel or Civitai account you own and register its works one by one; register a work from a URL or from a file the assistant has; bind a work to a character; make a work public or private; read a public character, work or the market; verify a fingerprint. A typical exchange is “register this track under the name Mira, AI-assisted, I wrote the lyrics and chose the structure, then bind it to Mira” — and the assistant fills in the record the same way the form would, contribution field included.
What it deliberately cannot do
There are no tools to delete anything, to issue a registry ID, to open, sign or pay for a deal, or to change billing. An assistant acts on your behalf but without your eyes on each step, so the connector only exposes actions that are reversible or additive. Issuing an ID and selling a character are yours to do in the app, on purpose.
Read it back
Whatever the assistant registers appears in your Works page immediately with the full record. Check the contribution text it wrote before the night's anchoring; after that it is frozen like any other record. If it got a fact wrong, register a corrected version and chain it to the first — the same rule as for humans.

十二個工具，每一個都是你自己在 app 裡也能做的事：列出你的角色和作品；讀你自己的 YouTube 頻道或 Civitai 帳號、把作品逐件登記；從網址或助理手上的檔案登記作品；把作品綁到角色；作品設公開或不公開；讀公開的角色、作品或市集；查驗指紋。典型的一句是「用 Mira 這個名字登記這首歌，AI 協作，歌詞我寫的、結構我選的，然後綁到 Mira」——助理會像表單一樣把紀錄填好，貢獻欄也包括在內。
它刻意不能做什麼
沒有刪除任何東西的工具、沒有發放登記編號的工具、沒有開交易、簽署、付款的工具、沒有動帳務的工具。助理是替你行動，但每一步不見得有你的眼睛盯著，所以連接器只開放可逆或只增不減的操作。發編號和賣角色由你在 app 裡親手做——這是故意的。
回頭讀一遍
助理登記的任何東西會立刻出現在你的作品頁，帶完整紀錄。當晚上鏈之前，把它寫的貢獻說明看一遍；之後就和其他紀錄一樣凍住了。它把事實寫錯，就登記一個修正版並鏈到第一件——規則和人一樣。

Does the assistant need my password?助理需要我的密碼嗎？
No. claude.ai and ChatGPT connect through OAuth: you sign in on OpenStela and approve the connector, and it receives a token scoped to your account that you can revoke in Account settings at any time.

Can it register a file on my computer?它可以登記我電腦裡的檔案嗎？
If the assistant can read the file — Claude Code and Cursor can; the web chat can if you attach it — it sends the bytes and the record is made from them. Otherwise give it the public URL and it registers a snapshot of that page.
只要助理讀得到檔案——Claude Code 和 Cursor 可以；網頁版對話附上檔案也可以——它會把位元組送過去，紀錄從檔案本體算出。否則給它公開網址，它會登記那個頁面的快照。
Can it sell my character?它可以幫我賣角色嗎？
No. There are no deal, signing or payment tools in the connector. Sales are done by you in the app.
